Found and photographed by Ron Martin. The bird is a juvenile molting into basic (non-breeding) plumage. Locations is the Minot Lagoons - in the southeast corner of cell #1. Compare this with the molting bird found on (2006-09-17).

The Red Phalarope found by Ron Martin, Dean Riemer, and
Corey Ellingson, photo by Patrick Beauzay. The bird was present in the extreme northeast corner of the west central cell of the Fargo Lagoons. This is a juv molting into basic (winter).
