Snowy Owls in south Fargo
These two Snowy Owls have recently been regular visitors to the Kennedy School neighborhood in south Fargo. The camera angle and lens makes them look like they are close together, but they are actually 300-350 yards apart. Photo by Dan Mason.
Taken: 2016-02-10 S. Fargo, near Kennedy Elementary School, GPS 46.815237, -96.850198.

Snowy Owl
This Snowy was seen NNW of the Galchutt exit (exit 31) on I-29, about one mile north of the beet storage piles. This was a very relaxed bird, who continued to scan the nearby field/ditch while I took photos, despite my vehicle being 30 feet away.
Taken: 2015-12-15 Richland County, about 14 miles NW of Wahpeton, ND.

Snowy Owl in Fargo
This Snowy Owl has been hanging around hunting for rabbits this winter. I've seen him 3 times but never have a good camera with. This was taken with my cell phone. There are hundreds of white-tail jackrabbits in the area he seems to be hunting for.
Taken: 2015-02-15 South Fargo, ND, near 35th Ave S and 54th St S. Approximately 1/2 mile south of Scheels Arena. Soybean and grassy fields in the area, along with new construction disturbed land.
