Scissor-tailed Flycatcher
	From the Exp. Station on Highway 6 coming south out of Mandan turn west (right) onto County road 44 (the first road west south of the Station). Proceed 5.1 miles to the west - (it winds a bit the first 2 miles). Turn left (south) and proceed.
Taken: 2004-10-25	You will see a pond on your right, then a long driveway lined with boots on the fenceposts. This is the birds location. The homeowners expect visitors. Photo by Holly Burch the landowner.

	The bird was feeding on the road and perched on the utility wires on the north side of the road. It was also perching on the cut alfalfa to the north.... making it very hard to pick out. Photo by Keith Corliss
