Pelican courtship flight
	One of those is a female!! How to tell, haven't a clue! Dozens of bunches of 6-10 in pursuit and displaying non-stop! Pretty unbelievabe with a couple thousand of the 10,000 in the air at once. SE corner of Chase Lake NWR.

Two male A.W. Pelicans ground a female !
	Aggressive display flights are aggressive! While flying inches above the water they forced her to land! Anyone interested in a one mile hike to the SE fenceline next spring? It is fun, bring a lot of film! I've taken 300 photos an hour!

	Taking photos today at Mirror Lake in Hettinger, I saw this pelican with a small flock of Canadian geese. Walked slowly to get closer and once he spotted me he lifted up, flew toward me, then turned and flew to the other side of the lake. Amazingly
